Product Description
The Electric Motor Bearing Grease Sampler Kit includes 10 Grease Thief™ sample fittings to be used to obtain representative and repeatable samples from electric motor drains and other equipment outfitted with a 1/8 inch NPT threaded grease purge drain path. The drain plug is removed from the equipment, and the sample fitting is threaded in its place. After proper greasing, purged grease enters the fitting where it is captured for analysis. When sufficiently full, the fitting is unscrewed from the drain, capped, and placed in a clean, labeled tube for shipment to the laboratory.

After reviewing the grease sampler kit you provide for grease lubricated electric motors I can recommend this as a viable option to allow non-contaminated grease samples to be obtained during re-greasing activities. The grease sampler also allows continued purging of the grease in the grease cavity after the sample tube is full. Without this feature, over-pressurization could occur. The grease sampler that you provide is one of the better methods for obtaining grease sampling for analysis.

Highly recommend grease thief. Easy to use and MRG gives quick turn around with recommendations. If you are new to lubrication analysis this is the way to go, easy to implement and quick turnaround on results
